What each platform costs (checked November 1, 2026)
Obelion: free plan with multi-timeframe charts and core indicators. Origin is $20 a month and adds live streaming, Renko and Heikin-Ashi, and saved layouts. Obelisk is $45 a month and adds Volume Profile, opening range overlays and more indicators. Free gamma exposure, options chain, max pain and implied volatility pages for every listed ticker.
TradingView: free Basic plan. Essential is $12.95 a month billed yearly; higher tiers cost more. Excellent charts, but no gamma exposure or options flow built in.
Koyfin: free plan with charting, Plus from $39 a month. Strong on fundamentals and fund data rather than options.
Unusual Whales: from $50 a month, about $34 billed yearly. Built for options flow, with charting included.
How to choose the cheapest platform for you
Price only means something against what you would otherwise buy twice. A charting subscription plus a separate GEX or flow tool often costs more than one platform that has both.
If you only draw on charts, a free plan or TradingView Essential is enough. If you trade options and want to see where dealers are positioned, a platform with built-in GEX saves a second subscription.
Start on free plans. Every platform here has one, and a week of real use tells you more than a feature list.
We make Obelion, so read our view with that in mind. Competitor prices come from their own pricing pages on the date above and may have changed.
